Its no secret that I adore my twin girls, they are so uniquely different, yet equally silly. Â I attempted at the very last minute to snap some pictures for a birthday invitation for their upcoming 2nd birthday by myself and what an adventure that was. Â I am used to having an extra set of hands during my session to keep the baby in place, so keeping two where I needed, well it wasn’t easy. Â It was something that I felt I had to do, only because I did it for my older daughter. I’ve learned over the years that sometimes simple is best and decided to have a very small celebration for them since our house has been overtaken with *stuff* Â I still felt they deserved a formal invitation if even if it was only going to their grandparents and aunts and uncles…. Â Well, I should have just settled for Alexander Graham Bell’s wonderful invention….the telephone because my silly girls wore me out! Â Â They have only had two lollypop’s in their life, both at times of desperation trying to get a shot of them in the same frame…. this time the lollypop only lasted about 2 minutes, and they were moving on. Â I got lucky for another two minutes and they both decided to play *car* in my little box, but my overall vision of them holding hands in their little tutus went down the drain rather quickly. Â Its rough being a photographer’s child and they make sure to make me work for every shot, but I am not going to complain because it won’t be too long before they are learning to read and write and sitting still for me. Â I love these little girls, they are so much fun and TWO is such a wonderful age. Â I thought you might get a chuckle out of my little photo session with the girls.

My gosh the girls are getting so BIG! I can hardly believe they are about to turn 2! Anyway, I had to congratulate you on getting them both in 3 shots together! LOL! That task is IMPOSSIBLE here! As a matter of fact, I have hired someone to do our family pics because I seriously give up! Great pics, beautiful girls. Happy Birthday Girls!
