Happy Earth Day!

Each year the number of people who celebrate “Earth Day” continues to rise.  Thanks to the media and marketing campaigns of big corporations we are all getting the message of just how precious our Earth is.   I have to admit, its hard to get into the habit of recycling and making environmentally friendly purchases, but more and more I am realizing that I have to do my part so that my girls will have a wonderful “Earth” full of resources.  Its funny how a 4 year old can make you realize what is really important, and that is exactly what happened to me last year when my oldest daughter who was 4 at the time came to me and asked “Mommy, what are we doing for our environment?”   It was an eye opening moment for me, how impressionable she is and how little things that we do together today can make an difference in her adult life.  I have lots of room for improvement, lots, but I have been making an effort in my personal and professional life. You may have noticed when you receive your shipment of images, that often times I reuse/recycle the shipping boxes, and I don’t include alot of fluff that will be thrown away, no they aren’t always *pretty* but I’d rather recycle what I can and not include anything over the top that would be thrown away, as I know that it is the images that you are really looking forward to and not the packaging.  I also try and limit paperwork and use electronic forms and correspondence as much as possible as well as a few other little things that I believe can add up to make a big difference.   Here are a few fun links with Earth Day activities, facts, etc. that you can share with your little ones.
