Its about that time of year, time to get some sand between your toes. I’ve started to get lots of inquiries about beach sessions, so I thought I’d post a storyboard from a recent session with a beautiful family at Fort Desoto Park.  Another beach location I love is Anna Maria Island.  Beach sessions are so much fun for the entire family, especially the kids.  Feel free to email me if you’d like information about scheduling a beach session, but don’t wait too long, my calendar is full for May and I’m already booking mid to late June.   

I just love to watch the little ones grow up, from being in Mommy’s tummy to getting their groove on.   I’ve had the pleasure of photographing little “P” five times now and he is always such a pleasure, but his personality is really starting to shine.  I love it when I finish a session and feel like I accomplished my goal of capturing their personalities.  This is one happy little guy!    

Is there anything more perfect than this?  A newborn baby snuggled up with his Mommy who is absolutely head over heels in love with him… this little guy was so good for me and I photographed him at only 6 days old.  :)  

My sweet little girls were born.  It doesn’t seem possible that a year has passed and they are “ONE”.   One thing I love about my job is knowing that you (my clients) are parents too, and you understand that I am a mom too.  Thanks for your patience this year as I’ve learned to juggle my new additions to our family and my business and I’m sure you know I have pictures to share…lol.    

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Relay for Life a success this year.  We had lots of fun and raised approximately $2000 for our team.  If you haven’t attended or participated in a RFL event, I encourage you to do so.  Its very moving to watch the survivor lap and know that your efforts are helping to add to the list of survivors, and hopefully one day Cancer will be no more…. Here are a few pictures of our team, looking forward to next year!        

I wanted to kick off my blog with something very special to my heart, my father!  Many of you know that I lost him over a year ago to Pancreatic Cancer, and were so patient, supportive and understanding as orders got delayed while I dealt with his illness and passing and I am forever grateful for that.  I have the best clients in the world and I am so thankful that I get to do what I love and work with such wonderful families and children.  I posted last year about our Relay for Life team that we formed in memory of my father, and I am very proud to say that we raised over $3000 and won “Rookie of the Year”!!!!  You can view a slideshow from last year’s walk here. My Wish Slideshow   We hope to exceed last year’s amount and I’ve spent a little time trying to come up with some creative ways to raise money for our team and decided to offer a few “RFL” items….ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY WEDNESDAY APRIL 16TH. Our event is on Friday April 18th.

I’ve started offering digital files in 2008 after MANY requests, so what better way to raise money for such a good cause but to offer digital files from past sessions.  This will be the only opportunity to purchase past files. CD complete with high resolution files from your session - $500 donation

• Some sessions may not be able to be recovered from archived files, you will be refunded in full if there is a problem recovering your files.
•  Multiple sessions may not be combined with digital files, it is $500 per session.
• Digital Files are provided as shown in your original gallery, which means some images may be color and some B&W.
